Organized by the Vocational School of Social Sciences, Department of Management and Organization, Health Institutions Management Program, “World Tea Day: Tea and Health Relationship”, organized by the Vocational School of Social Sciences FS 106 lecture hall and foyer area.
Coordinated by Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Kübra Gül was the coordinator of the program. Assist. Mahfure Pirol made a presentation. In her presentation, Pirol talked about the historical development of tea and touched on the spread of tea from China to the world. She also emphasized the benefits and harms of tea and stated that tea is a healthy drink when consumed in doses, but excessive consumption can cause various harms. Pirol emphasized that daily tea consumption should not exceed 5 cups.
After the presentation, Pirol answered the questions of the participants and thanked everyone who attended the event. Afterwards, Head of the Department of Management and Organization Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Kübra Gül presented Pirol with a certificate of appreciation. The event ended with tea and cake treats in the foyer area.
Making a statement about the program, which was highly appreciated in terms of raising awareness about World Tea Day, Advisor to the Rector and Director of the Vocational School of Social Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özalper expressed his sincere congratulations to all the staff who contributed to the organization of the event.
